Sales Executive (FMCG Distribution – HORECA Segment)

Job Description
Involve in sales and marketing programmes, keep track of cost and effectiveness of programmes and activities against the goals. Identify territory/channel issues and opportunities. Deliver sales volume forecasting from area/territory’s perspective.

In order to be considered, you must have relevant Sales & Marketing experience handling Food Service accounts specific to HORECA customers in UAE.

Roles and Responsibilities
As a Sales Executive – (FMCG Distribution – HORECA Segment), you are responsible to implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities in your specific area of responsibility under the general guidance of the Sales Manager of Food & Beverage and will include key responsibilities such as:

• Have comprehensive and up to date knowledge of all the outlets unique selling points, features, amenities, services and policies and those of the competition.
• Generate new and maintain existing customer relationships through various sales activities and create awareness of the hotel outlets and facilities through face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment, site inspections etc. to ensure complete coverage of own portfolio of accounts and achieve set targets and maximum possible productivity.
• Identifying market potential in order to establish new account, achieve food service sales volume, revenue and profitability goals.
• Maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate pricing and contracts with customers so as to provide products and services that meet standards of quality, timeliness and cost.
• Responsible for achieving the given targets / objectives
• Responsible for money collection from the customers
• Responsible for monthly sales targets
• Monitor and inform about competitor activities
• Generate daily / weekly / monthly sales reports and suggest necessary actions
• Overall responsible for customer database

Skills
• Degree in Hospitality Management, Food Technology or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years Sales & Marketing experience handling Food Service accounts specific to HORECA customers in the region.
• Strong Food Service contacts
• Ability to deal at all levels from Unit Head Chefs and Contract Catering Managers through to Buyer level.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven track record in developing markets and achieving business results
• Hold a UAE driver’s license and/or own vehicle.
• Degree in Hospitality Management, Food Technology or equivalent professional qualification.
